Tours in Namibia

The country in the South-West of Africa between the Orange River in the South and the Cunene River in the North is a barren, rough country – surreal and nevertheless welcoming and somehow familiar and easy to travel. Namibia is the photographer’s dream country, a country of contrasts and of clear colors. It is a country many people have fallen in love with. Whoever is looking for silence and nature, whoever enjoys gorgeous landscapes, deserts and never-ending vastness will be affected by Namibia that belongs to the most sparsely populated countries in the world. There is the hostile Namib Desert along the stormy coast with its countless wrecks. The orange dunes of the desert are broad up to 150 kilometers, the highest dunes are high up to 300 meters. It is the oldest desert of the world with a unique flora and fauna. Millions of years ago the Orange River washed diamonds into the sea; streaming, waves and wind carried them into the sand of the dunes’ sand and created one of Namibia’s fortunes. Namibia is Africa with kind and simple people, with endless awl savannas, Mopane Bush, Makalani palm trees and Baobab trees, with lions and elephants, zebras and giraffes – a fauna with such a great deal of species that is unique in the world. It is especially protected in the huge Etosha National Park and in numerous other game reserves.
