Classical Namibia Tour (13-14 days)

Day 1:

Arrival in Windhoek. Sightseeing tour in Windhoek – possibility of shopping. Trip to the Kalahari Desert near Mariental. Experience the red-colored dune landscape of the Kalahari. Use the first day to “arrive” and to relax at the pool or to go on a safari in order to learn more about this fascinating biosphere.

Day 2:

Tour to the Namib Desert. Experience the unreal world of this desert. Take part in scenic drives or hiking tours through the dunes and learn more about the flora, fauna and geology of this area.

Day 3:

Trip to the famous Namib Naukluft Parks, the country’s largest national park. See the world’s highest dunes in Sossusvlei. After climbing you can enjoy the view over the never-ending sea of dunes of the world’s oldest desert. Another unforgettable experience is seeing „Dune 45“, Dead Vlei and the Sesriem Canyon.

Day 4-5:

Tour to Swakopmund passing the Kuiseb Canyons. Discover this charming coastal city that is coined by its German colonial time with its sights and beaches. A great deal of activities is offered here.

Day 6-7:

Tour passing the Spitzkoppe (from German for "pointed dome"), also referred to as “Matterhorn of Namibia”, to the Erongo-Mountains. Experience this area traversed by bushes, rocks and mountains and go on safaris, hiking tours or visit the huge granite bowls of the „Bull's Party“ and the Philip's Cave.

Day 8:

Tour passing the Brandberg to Damaraland. You visit the rock engravings of Twyfelfontein (World Heritage Site), the petrified forest and the Vingerklip (Rockfinger) near the Ugab Terraces.

Day 9-10:

Tour to the famous Etosha National Park. The next days you go on long safari tours in this game reserve with a total surface of 22,000 square kilometers. Observe closely giraffes, zebras, antelopes, rhinos, elephants, lions, leopards and many more wild animals.

Day 11:

Tour to Waterberg Mountain. Enjoy the gorgeous view from the top over the vast savanna landscape. In the Waterberg Plateau Park live, among others, buffaloes and rare species like the sable antelope and the roan antelope as well as black rhinos.

Day 12:

Visit a typical Namibian farm with cattle and goat breeding. Learn more about the organization of a farm and about the farmer's daily life and tasks. You can participate in activities such as hiking, safaris or game observation from a hide.

Day 13:

Tour via the wood carvers’ market in Okahandja (possibility of souvenir shopping) to the airport of Windhoek where you can fly back home directly. You can stay one more night as well and fly home on the next day (day to your free disposal)
